18 June 2024: Sixty lessees from all five of Victoria’s leasehold buildings gathered at the Cook Street Activity Centre as part of the Province’s public consultation on B.C.’s leasehold issues and toward legislation to regulate them. Chaired by Vancouver West End government-side MLA Spencer Chandra-Herbert, participants did workshop-like prioritization of listed concerns while the MLA sat in at various tables.
